Congratulations to the James A. Garfield National Historic Site of Mentor, Ohio for a successful James A. Garfield Heritage Hike which took place on November 19, 2025 commemorating James A. Garfield’s 135th anniversary of his birth.

About 50 hikers were lead by Rangers from the National Historic Site. They began their trek at the Birthsite and replica cabin of the President in the Village of Moreland Hillsand ended 12.5 miles away with a wreath laying ceremony at his final resting place, Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
